Job Description
Cooper Lomaz are delighted to be working with this long established Norwich based engineering business. Based in the city centre they are looking for company accountant to join their £6million turnover business in central Norwich on a 10 month Fixed term contract.

Key duties include:

Month end reporting including detailed analysis
Posting all journals including prepayments and accruals
Preparation and submission of quarterly group VAT returns
Collation of group management account information
Monthly inter-company reconciliations
Completion of Companies House forms and ensuring deadlines are met
Preparation of year-end audit schedules and liaising with auditors
Capital expenditure recording and reporting and maintaining fixed asset registers
Work in Progress calculations and reporting, with accrued/deferred income and oversight of Applications and Retentions.
Credit control
Review and authorisation of supplier payment runs
Review and authorisation of monthly payrolls
Monthly CIS returns
Energy renewals
Liaising with insurance brokers for annual renewal, and any claims as required
Preparation of other reports and returns as required
Assist as required with maintaining business accreditations
About you!

At least 3 years working experience in a similar role
Strong technical accounting skills
Excellent IT skills (including excel)
ACA/ACCA qualified with post qualification experience
Working knowledge of Advanced Exchequer (not essential as training will be provided)
Working knowledge of MAM Software (not essential as training will be provided)
Working knowledge of Xero (not essential as training will be provided)
