Job Description
Job Title: Commercial Insurance Account Handler

Salary: up to £40,000 DOE

Location: Farnborough, Hampshire

Hybrid working pattern

The Opportunity

This is a fantastic opportunity to join a growing broker that places a real emphasis on delivering a high quality of service. As an Account Handler you will have experience with dealing with Commercial risks and you will be managing your own clients as well as supporting Account Executives. You will be joining a very supportive team that will make you feel welcome immediately and offer you any help you need.

With the vast levels of experience within the team you will be mentored and this role would really suit someone who is keen to move into an Account Executive position in the future.

What’s needed for me to be considered?

Responsibilities

Dealing with Renewals, Cancellations and MTAs

You will be managing a book of your own accounts

You will develop and manage relationships with key client contacts

To prepare reports for new business and renewals and to present to insurers for quotations

Deal with accounts queries

Deal with phone and email queries

To input data onto the system as necessary

Skills

Previous Commercial Account Handling experience in the Insurance Industry (4-5 years minimum ideally)

Technical product knowledge

Compliance with FCA regulatory knowledge

Organised and able to prioritise tasks

Strong interpersonal and communication skills
