Job Description
We are looking for an Accounts Assistant for a well-known business based in Milton Keynes.

Reporting to the Financial Controller you will be responsible for providing financial and administrative support to ensure the efficient and smooth running of the finance team. Key outcomes are : 100% accuracy in maintaining and updating the purchase and sale ledger Processing the weekly payroll on time and with no errors Providing accurate and timely support for maintenance and service contracts

AP & AR SAP experience of 1 year

AAT mid or early level

This role is 50% Accounts Payable

ABOUT YOU • To maintain confidentiality at all times • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and proven numerical skills • High attention to detail • Working knowledge of clients and suppliers credit terms and conditions • Understanding the importance of debt chasing • Basic understanding of accounting rules and laws • Highly organised and thorough, nothing slips through the net • Likes to do things right and in the right way • Open to learning and keen to take on new things to progress • Proactive • Eager, committed, self-starter • Minimum A-C grade GCSE Maths and English • AAT qualification or working toward an accounting qualification
