Our client is a highly successful and expanding accountancy firm based in the heart of Stoke on Trent. They are looking for a bright and ambitious Audit Manager to join their team due to company growth. Boasting fantastic offices and a friendly working environment, this is the perfect opportunity for an ACCA / ACA qualified audit professional to work with a variety of clients to provide the excellent service this practice prides itself on.
 
Job Description:
 
The Audit Manager will report to the Directors and will be responsible for leading and inspiring a team of auditors, including trainees and apprentices. Duties will include:

Working alongside the Directors to identify opportunities for clients
Coaching and developing a team of apprentices and trainees
Managing the team’s workload and ensuring deadlines are met
Completing file reviews for their varied client base
Providing advice, tips and training to the whole team and keeping everyone up to date with the latest updates Candidate requirements for the Audit Manager role:

You’ll be an experienced and passionate Auditor
You’ll have at least two years’ management experience within an accountancy practice
ACCA or ACA qualified
Excellent at building long-lasting relationships with a varied client base Hours: Monday to Friday, 37.5 hours per week (flexi time)
Salary: Negotiable dependent on experience
