Job Description
Four Squared Recruitment are partnering with an award-winning firm of chartered accountants based in Droitwich, to support their growth through the appointment of an Assistant Management Accountant. With a modern approach to accountancy and a passion for technology, Ballards LLP provides a wide range of accountancy services across a variety of sectors.

As Assistant Management Accountant, this is a hybrid support role to clients using Xero software for their accounts, providing training from Xero-build and beyond, alongside the preparation of management accounts and reports for businesses who outsource their finance function.

The successful candidate will be AAT qualified as a minimum, and be Xero certified or working towards. Payroll or ICB certification will also be an advantage.

About the role:

* Support the team in the preparation of different elements of the management accounts process

* Prepare submission of VAT returns

* Process monthly sales invoices and month end journals

* Post monthly sales & purchase invoices, and payroll journals

* Provide support to clients and in-house colleagues on Xero accounting

* Conduct training for new and established clients

* Assist with growth of services offered to clients

About you:

* AAT or a similar professional qualification

* Working knowledge of Xero and data migration from desktop software to Xero

* Knowledge and experience of bookkeeping

* Strong communication skills – both verbal and written.

* Excellent attention to detail

* Commercial approach to resolving issues

* Able to work confidentially

* Able to prioritise own workload

* A passion for providing excellent customer service
