Assistant Management Accountant | £25,000 – £30,000 + Study Support | Leeds | PE backed multinational firm | Excellent culture and benefits

Axon Moore are working closely with a key long-term client in their search for an ambitious Assistant Management Accountant to join their team and fulfil their potential. Opportunities to join a high-growth, multinational PLC. Therefore, the successful candidate – as well as being CIMA/ACCA part-qualified – must possess exceptional organisational and communication skills besides being able to demonstrate a strong desire to succeed and a positive work-ethic.

Key Responsibilities and Duties:

Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting data
Assist with the preparation of the monthly management accounts and supporting data including cost of sales reconciliations
Provide monthly variance analysis on various areas within the business
Maintain Balance Sheet reconciliations including accruals & prepayment control accounts
Liaise with the other finance departments with regards to providing correct information at source
Respond to queries from senior managers within the business
Ensure appropriate systems and internal controls are maintained

Key skills for the role:

Be studying towards your CIMA, ACCA, ACA or AAT Qualification.
Experience within a similar role.
Strong Microsoft Excel skills.
Self-motivated and a strong ability to work collaboratively with different teams across the business.
A keen eye for detail and accuracy.
An ability to think methodically and logically with a strong desire to continue learning and developing.
Able to work efficiently towards meeting targets and deadlines.
