Job Description
A vacancy has arisen at Contechs for an Assistant Financial Analyst. Reporting on a day-to-day basis to the Commercial Analyst, you will support the following activities:

1. Reconciliation of all balance sheet codes to identify the content of each code in all companies using established methodologies.

2. Maintenance of Prepayments. Creation of schedule of release of all Prepayments by month for all companies. Preparation of monthly Prepayment release schedules.

3. Maintenance of Accruals. Creation of schedule to manage all Accruals by month for all companies. Preparation of monthly Accruals release schedules.

4. Maintenance of a schedule of anticipated costs from suppliers and management of change arrangements with new and existing suppliers.

5. Maintenance of Fixed Asset Registers in all companies. Updating of Fixed Asset Registers on a real-time basis. Calculation of depreciation on a quarterly basis. Preparation of monthly depreciation journals.

6. Calculation of quarterly Asset Rental Charges to all companies using Fixed Asset Register.

7. Maintenance of Software Rental Charges. Re-charge of Software Rental Charges between companies. Management of the release of Software Rental Charges by month for all companies and preparation of monthly release journals. Management of renewals and additions to Software Rental Charges.

8. Maintenance and control of all HP Agreements. Posting of new HP Agreements, Preparation of HP Agreement repayment schedules. Preparation of monthly release journals. Management of new HP Agreements.

9. Maintenance of all Inter-Company Invoicing. Creation of schedules to manage Inter-Company Invoicing. Advice to Sales Ledger on issue of invoices. Reconciliation of respective Sales & Purchase ledgers on a monthly basis. Particular consideration to re-charge of audit fee and group insurance.

10. Maintenance of all Inter-Company Loans. Posting of respective Sale & Purchase Ledger positions to loan accounts.

11. Maintenance of HSBC & Amex Credit Cards on a monthly basis using existing methodologies. Approval of Credit Card Schedules and management of posting of Credit Card journals.

12. Maintenance of all Deferred Sales Control Accounts. Reconciliation of postings to Deferred Sales Control Accounts by Client and Job Number on a real time basis. Tracking of Job Numbers against budget.

13. Maintenance of all Contractor Suspense Accounts. Reconciliation of postings to Contractor Suspense Accounts to purchase codes on a real time basis.

14. Population of Margin Analysis Sheets by month by company. Reconciliation of Margin Analysis Sheets to nominal codes. Analysis of Margin Analysis Sheets.

15. Extraction of data from PMS and importation of data into SAGE using the correct data and the correct uploading format on a real time basis.

16. Running and filing MI Reports from SAGE and update existing MI Packs on a monthly basis.

17. Understanding of Annual Budgets for each company and the established methodologies for consolidating the P&L and Balance Sheet for all companies.
