Job Description
Our client, a growing company based in Marlow, is looking for an Assistant Accountant to join their team.

The successful candidate will support the business in providing high quality financial information and assist with the achievement of business and finance team objectives including month end reporting and ad hoc analysis.

The role is hybrid and is paying £27,000 – £30,000 plus excellent benefits and career development.

Study support also potentially on offer for the right candidate.

Duties include

Monitoring the Accounts email inbox and responding to customer and supplier queries
Accounts Payable: Supplier account maintenance; Processing invoices with accurate coding and descriptions; Running and checking creditor reports to identify payments required
Verifying and processing colleague expenses
Accounts Receivable: Raising invoices for customer recharges, ad hoc monthly vehicle rentals and invoice/credit note adjustments; Providing monthly customer statements with relevant details
Processing and tracking vehicle funding requests and reconciling vehicle purchases with sales
Ad hoc financial analysisSkills/Experience

Experience of financial accounting processes, responsibilities and systems
Strong IT skills with emphasis on Excel, good numeracy and analytical skills
High levels of accuracy and attention to detail
Demonstrate a positive and professional attitude
Able to work as part of a team
Willingness to exceed expectation
