Job Description
CMA Recruitment Group has collaborated with a successful, global business, based in beautiful surroundings near Chichester, West Sussex.   An Assistant Accountant is required to provide commercial financial support to the Operations Teams. 

What will the Assistant Accountant role involve? 

Support the Month End close, including accruals and prepayments and balance sheet reconciliations;
Analysing stock takes and preparing month end stock journals
Variance analysis, and assist in appropriate actions being put in place to improve;
Assisting in the accurate & timely weekly, monthly, and rolling forecasts and annual budgeting/forecasting process
Assisting in driving commercial initiatives to maximise revenue and optimise cost control and margin delivery
Raising of sales invoices;
Overseeing purchase ledger. 
Suitable Candidate: 

AAT and/or working towards a professional qualification;
High numeric and analytical skills along with excellent attention to detail;
Good financial and commercial acumen;
Excellent Excel Skills;
Positive attitude towards colleagues.
