SENIOR MANAGER ROLE IN TOWCESTER, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE- JOB REF: JO32697
Accountancy Elite are delighted to be partnered with a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Towcester who provide a wide range of excellent services to clients across the region. This exciting new position will involve controlling the accountancy department and so Partnership is a real possibility either immediately or in the near future. The successful candidate may be someone currently in either a management or partner designate position looking to make a step up. It may also be a Sole Practitioner looking to merge.
The successful candidate for this role would be someone who is either ACCA or ACA qualified. Holding a Xero certification would also be desirable but is not essential. A minimum of 5 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Excellent communication skills are a must as this role is very client facing. Key Roles and
Responsibilities:
* Managing the accountancy department to include reviewing Year-end Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships, Limited Companies, Limited Liability Partnerships, Pension Schemes and Syndicates.
* Review Corporation Tax computations and returns.
* Review of Management Accounts for clients monthly and quarterly.
* Review of VAT returns quarterly, monthly & annually, Cash, Flat Rate and Accrual Schemes.
* Control of Bookkeeping services for clients and control of cloud accounting suite.
Candidate Attributes:
* Minimum of 5 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment.
* ACCA or ACA qualification is essential.
* Strong experience of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero is essential.
* Previous management experience would be highly desirable.
* Excellent communication skills and confident in dealing directly with a wide range of clients.
