Job Description
Interaction Recruitment are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant on behalf of our amazing client in the outskirts of Peterborough.
Our client is one of the leading family owned young plant businesses in Europe and is looking for a passionate person to join their team.
You’ll be required to work in busy environment with the following duties:
Preparing invoices for payment runs as instructed by Head of Finance
Posting all purchase invoices and credit notes onto the accounts system
Assist with export documentation
Obtain the monthly postponed VAT documentation
Reconcile and post the monthly credit card transactions
Filing all invoices for payment in invoice order and all paid invoices in supplier invoice files
Order any purchases from Amazon as requested
Maintain the stationary cupboard and complete necessary purchases
Successful candidates must have the following skills:
Must have purchase ledger experience
A good working knowledge of excel and word
Must have ability to enter data accurately whilst working under pressure and achieve deadlines at peak times of the year
Use of SAGE 50 BUT 200 would be preferable
This role is a Monday – Friday role 9-5 in the office. We are looking for someone who isn’t afraid to help different areas of the business alongside some reception cover when needed.
