Job Description

At VINCI, we design, build and manage the facilities that improve everyday life. We are looking to expand our Finance team and are looking for an Accounts Assistant to work efficiently across various financial ledgers.

As an Accounts Assistant, you will be responsible for:

* Accessing online bank statements and downloading onto COINS (construction industry accounting software)

* Populating cash books with both payments and receipts and posting into COINS

* Updating spreadsheets & reports and issuing to relevant directors

* Submitting completed month-end bank reconciliations by set deadlines

* Raising and issuing sales ledger & contract sales invoices in a timely manner

* Chasing debts and reconciling debtors ledger

* Issuing regular cash sheets as required by the Division

* Liaising with internal & external individuals to resolve queries and give assistance

* Testing for COINS upgrades

* Reconciling General Ledger accounts

* Carrying out credit checks on daily basis

The successful Purchase Ledger Administrator will have:

* A 'can do' attitude

* Proficiency with Microsoft Office (especially, Outlook and Excel)

* Familiarisation with COINS and AAT qualification would be advantageous but not essential.

The role is based in Widnes, Cheshire and the office hours are 08:45 to 17:00 less 45 minutes unpaid lunch, Monday to Friday
