Job Description
Accounts Assistant – Hirwaun, Aberdare – Full Time

Permanent Position – £21,000 – £26,000 per annum

Red Recruitment are pleased to be working with one of the largest independently owned civil engineering, plant and development companies in the UK. They have an exciting opportunity within their company for an Accounts Assistant looking to start ASAP. Accounts Assistant duties include:

Liaising with drivers on a daily basis
Updating the plant database and diary for movements
Maintaining machine documentation and servicing records (both manually and electronically)
Updating spreadsheets for the Board of Directors to keep track of various sales types e.g. hire, tonnage moved, hours worked
On boarding new customers / hires. This includes the completion of CPA Agreements and the processing of credit account application forms
Raising and distributing sales invoices internally and externally using Sage 200
Maintaining vehicle records both electronically and manually
Updating insurance cover for company vehicles on the insurance portal
Organise the taxing of company vehicles

Accounts Assistant Key Skills:

Organised and methodical
Good attention to detail
Experience of Excel, Outlook and Word
Good communication skills
Experience of using Sage 200 preferable
