AsAccounts Assistant, you’ll play a vital role in providing a quality service to a range of different clients and individuals.

About the role

Based in Derby, you will be tasked with:

Preparation of small limited company accounts for review by Director
Preparation of personal tax returns for directors / shareholders for review by Director
Preparation of VAT returns on online software (mostly Xero) and Sage Line 50
Payroll

About you

The ideal candidate for this position will have:

At least 2 years experience working within an accountancy practice
Payroll experience
The ability to manage deadlines and prioritise work
Experience working with Sage and Xero software

What’s on offer

Salary: circa £24,000
Benefits:Monday to Friday, 9-5 with 45 minutes lunch, 36.25 hour working week, 20 days holiday plus 5 extra statutory holidays and bank holidays
Contract type: Permanent
