Job Description
We are pleased to be actively representing a local Accountancy practice in their search for an Accounting Manager to join their team based from their offices in Letchworth, Hertfordshire.

Working on a hybrid basis, with 2 days from home and 3 in the office, this is an exciting new role where you will be working for a growing department in a role where you will be working in partnership with the Head of Department to run the department.  Responsibilities include:

Building relationships with clients – managing their expectations, service and managing the team to deliver high quality client satisfaction
Supporting the development of the team, leading by example
Completing VAT and Management Accounts reviews – using existing technical knowledge and experience
Identifying and delivering added value services to the clients
Adhoc duties
Applications are welcome from candidates with the following skills and experience:

Minimum of 3 years PQE of working in a medium sized accountancy practice
Ideally ACA or ACCA qualified
Experience of supervising/managing more junior members of staff
Excellent communication skills will be essential for this role
Tech savvy – experience of CCH would be advantageous
