SEMI-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT IN NORTHAMPTON, NORTHAMPTONSHIRE- JOB REF: JO33535
Accountancy Elite are delighted to be partnered with a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Northampton. This company serves a wide range of clients from a variety of sectors across Northamptonshire. Due to continued growth, this company is looking to expand their team.
The ideal candidate for this role would be someone who is AAT qualified and continuing with further study such as ACA or ACCA. Candidates who are either nearing completion of AAT or who are QBE will also definitely be considered. A minimum of 2 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is essential. Any experience in external audit would be desirable but is by no means essential.
Key Roles and Responsibilities:
* Preparation of Year-end Accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.
* Corporation Tax computations and Company Tax returns.
* Preparation of Self-Assessment Tax returns.
* General Bookkeeping and VAT returns for clients.
* Regular use of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.
Candidates Attributes:
* Minimum of 2 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience.
* Either part ACCA/ACA qualified or late stage AAT.
* Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
* Strong experience with Xero/QuickBooks or similar cloud software packages.
