Job Description
Are you a qualified Accountant with one of the ACA, ACCA, CIMA or ICAS qualifications? Are you interested in an exciting, new challenge, where you will be training up the next generation of accountancy & tax professionals?
Find are specialist recruiters within the education & training sector and are representing a market leading provider of accountancy & tax apprenticeships. My client are looking for a number of Tutors to work with apprentices doing their level 2-7 accountancy apprenticeship qualifications. NO previous experience working as a teacher/tutor is necessary – my client will provide all of the training you need to do the job. All they are looking for are qualified accountants who would be interested in entering the training world.
What you might be doing now
– Working for an audit & accountancy practice
– Working for a finance team or function
– You may already be working in an educational setting within the accountancy space
– Or you may have just finished your own accountancy studies and like the idea of going into teaching
What you get
– Salary of £51,000-£54,000 with pay reviews every December (opportunity to be on £70,000 within 3 years)
– Hybrid working, delivering training at centre in London, with non-teaching days working from home
– Opportunity to be put through a level 5 teaching qualification, if this is something you would like to do (not a requirement for the role)

The role
You will provide outstanding classroom and online teaching to learners, inspiring them to achieve excellent learning and assessment outcomes. You'll continuously build your knowledge, skills and capabilities through regular training provided by our client, whilst helping them to improve what they deliver to their customers & learners
What you will bring
You will not need prior teaching experience because my client's Tutor Academy will help you become an inspirational educator, but you will need to bring:
– Recent professional accounting qualifications (as specified above)
– Ability to communicate and present with confidence, clarity and purpose
– Focus on quality and learner outcomes
– Demonstrated passion and enthusiasm
– Team player and able to work collaboratively
– Excellent written skills
– Ability to build strong relationships and trust
