Job Description
Job title: Compliance Specialist

Location: Liverpool

Duration: 6 months initially

The Role:

The role requires an experienced analysts with background in back-office trading and surveillance support. The role holder will work with the Strategic Head of Governance and Projects and the Deputy Head of Compliance, to define and document the current control room activities ahead of the transition of activities to the central team.

Responsibilities:

· Undertake an assessment of the current Control Room processes

· Assess trade scenarios and determine required changes to parameters per instrument type

· Review of and alignment of policies to Group requirements

· Review and assess the effective of reporting from Liquid Metrix

· Review of regulatory change requirements as they apply to MAR

· Work with central surveillance team

· Maintain appropriate and adequate management information to facilitate review and analysis of the key Compliance risks and risk indicators

· Liaison with Compliance counterparts across the business in EMEA to co-ordinate on regulatory change projects and/or compliance risk.

Requirements:

· Experience and understanding of how markets work

· Detailed knowledge of trade surveillance/control room activities

· Understanding of MAR and associated FCA/MIFIR requirements

· Analytical skills

· Presentation skills
