Job Description
A fantastic opportunity has arisen for an immediately available Treasury Consultant to join a fast paced, progressive, global company based in Berkshire. This is a six-month contract working on a rate of up to £500 per day (inside IR35), with a hybrid working pattern.
Responsibilities:
Manage the operational responsibilities for the company's funding portfolio including Loan facilities and Commercial Paper facilities
Monthly preparation and implementation of the company's medium to long term funding plan ensuring liquidity ratios are manage effectively whilst ensuring the company costs are minimised
Investigation and implementation of alternative funding methods as instructed by the Treasury Committee
Plan and execute the refinancing of existing funding lines to ensure the company always has adequate funding
Implementation of alternative funding methods as instructed by the Treasury Committee.
Negotiate rates and terms with banking partners to minimise costs to the company.
Management and reporting of all Treasury related Operational and Strategic risks
Ensure adequate cover is available for all Cashiering and Treasury related activities.
Management of the company's Interest Rate Risk and Foreign currency exposures, making recommendations to the Treasury Committee on how to effectively manage these risks.
Implementation of risk strategies once approved by the Treasury Committee.
Manage the treasury management systems ensuring all systems are operating effectively and dealing with the appropriate stakeholders when issues occur
Manage the relationships with the Treasury Systems providers
Preparation of presentations to the monthly company Treasury Committee and quarterly company Regional Operating Board.
Overseeing the management of daily cashiering activities
Support and motivate the Treasury Analyst Co-ordinator and Treasury undergraduate.
Support business projects as and when required.Requirements:
Vast experience in a Treasury Function and ideally ACT qualified or working towards a Treasury Qualification (ACT)
Understanding of Treasury markets & products
Good communications skills and the ability to develop strong relationships
