Job Description
CMA Recruitment Group is working exclusively with an established, well-respected business based in Basingstoke, Hampshire.  A Finance Assistant is required to join their fast paced finance function initially on a temporary basis.  Reporting directly to Accounts Supervisor.

What will the role involve?

Obtain details of payments received by the company;
Using remittance information to match payments to outstanding customer invoices;
Ensure all payments are correctly entered into the accounts system;
Set up and administer direct debits in the accounts system;
Process supplier invoices or staff expense claims on the accounts ensuring that all have been correctly authorised for payment;
Resolve queries relating to process with sites or suppliers;
Reconcile supplier statements to ensure payments have been made correctly;
Provide information as required for company reporting;
Update master records as instructed;
File all paperwork;
Resolve queries received from sited, customers and suppliers.
Suitable Candidate:

Ideally working towards and AAT qualification or willing to do so;
GCSE or equivalent in Maths and English;
Ability to use Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook;
Experienced in working in an environment of high volume transaction processing;
A team player who is organised and reliable with a high degree of accuracy.
