Job Description
Sellick Partnership are excited to be partnering with a successful Transport and Logistics business as they look to recruit a Technical Accountant. The position will see you prepare accounting reports which will be used to support the wider business. This will include, but not limited to:

IFRS reporting of various standards (IFRS 16, IFRS 15, IFRIC 12, IAS 36, IAS 16 and IAS 38, IFRS 9, IAS 37 and IAS 20) Other areas of responsibility will include:

Liaising with External Auditors and Shareholders
Driving internal change and improvements to internal reporting standards
Providing ad-hoc support and guidance to other members of the finance team on technical matters concerning the Statutory accounts.This is an exciting opportunity for a talented technical accountant to take the next step in their career, within a corporate backed multinational business. The position is ideal for someone looking to make their first move into industry, or someone with previous experience in a similar reporting role.

The ideal candidate will:

Be a Qualified Accountant (ACCA/ACA or equivalent)
Be highly knowledgeable in IFRS & UK Reporting Standards
Have great interpersonal and communication skills
Have strong technical accounting abilitiesThe benefits for this role include:

Salary: Up to £45,000
