Tax Trainer and Consultant – Homebased
Location: Homebased remote working
Salary: Circa. £50,000 – £75,000

Responsibilities of the Tax Trainer and Consultant:
The main purpose of the role is to write and present high-quality technical presentations but also to support the wider technical team and strategy as needed. In particular, you may be called upon to answer the tax technical query (TQ) helpline, to contribute to technical content used for other purposes and to perform high quality independent and objective file reviews to evaluate accountancy practices' compliance with regulatory standards.

You will need:
* Excellent technical knowledge in the field of audit and accounts and compliance regulation, and ability to grasp changes and have the required skill to translate knowledge into written and verbal.
* Practical guidance to meet the needs of accountancy practitioners.
* The ability to undertake a high degree of research to stay abreast of the changing regulations.
* Excellent commercial awareness of the UK accounting profession.
* Professionally qualified to ACA standard or equivalent. Minimum 5 years post qualified experience.
* Ability to apply technical knowledge clearly and practically to a range of client firms and situations.
* Minimum of 5 years’ experience of presenting courses or undertaking file reviews in the accountancy profession.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills and above-average competency with the English Language to take on complex writing assignments. Must be able to effectively liaise with clients,staff and external parties.
* Ability to apply technical knowledge to create content that explains issues in a way that non accountants can understand.
* A high degree of organisational and project management skills.
