£50,000 plus bonus and a range of benefits

Our client, a highly successful fund administration services company is looking to hire a tax executive for the London based team. You will be responsible for delivering UK direct and indirect tax compliance services for a range of clients, including UK Companies, Trusts, SPVs, funds, unit trusts, LP's and other complex structures. You will liaise with clients, internal stakeholders and various intermediaries to prepare returns for review. Other tasks include preparation of tax reconciliations and disclosure notes for statutory accounts.

Essential is a recognised accounting and/or tax qualification and direct experience of preparing UK tax computations and returns for a broad range of corporate entities in a variety of jurisdictions. You should have a thorough understanding of financial statements – UK GAAP and/or IFRS. You should be comfortable producing UK corporation tax returns (CT600), UK partnership tax returns (SA800), UK VAT returns, Corporate Interest Restriction returns, Tax reconciliations and notes for use in statutory accounts, CIS Monthly returns, Annual ATED returns. Ideally, this expertise should have been gained in a real estate environment.

Also required is a good, detailed knowledge and understanding of the UK finance industry and funds sector, legislation and regulatory requirements.
