Client Manager
Leicester / Enderby (Our Ref AL1184) – hybrid
Salary – Circa £22k – £31,500k dependent on experience + benefits
My client, a very established IFA, is currently recruiting for a Client Manager to join their team in Enderby, Leicester. The role is open to either someone with some level of experience of working within financial services or a college graduate looking for a career in financial services as training and development will be provided.
Reporting to the office manager, the role will be the primary contact, managing and administering a portfolio of SIPP, SSAS and personal clients, dealing with all aspects of client affairs, within agreed procedures and regulations. You will get to know our clients well and will enjoy helping them to achieve their financial goals.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Brief outline of the responsibilities.
* Prep work for Client meetings (including coordination of work required by other team members where applicable).
* Attending client meetings & taking of meeting notes.
* Coordinating of action points from meetings and completing work required.
* Dealing with client telephone calls.
* managing client expectations and building client relations.
* Research, preparation and collation of information in relation to advice being given to clients.
* Liaising with insurance companies on client queries.
* Requesting illustrations required in respect of new and existing business
* Preparation and packaging of applications for client signature.
* Processing of new business to completion and in line with Administration and compliance procedures.
* Recording of new business information on records including Intelligent Office.
* Ensure any administration work completed is compliant and completed within the admin and compliance procedures.
* Action any compliance queries raised from compliance file checks.
* Preparation and completion of drawdown reviews for SIPP clients.
* Managing of Tasks and annual review dates.
* Updating client records and ensuring that the electronic folders and paper files are in good order and in line with our procedures.
* Responsibility for ensuring that the information in the Fees & Commission Spreadsheets are correct.
* Client meetings on/off site if required.
* Supporting consultant via one to one meetings, email and telephone calls.
* Complying with Data Protection policy to ensure that Client data is kept securely at all times.
* Participation in projects which may require your assistance from time to time.
WHAT YOU NEED TO SUCCEED
Ability to manage time and workload
Knowledge of FM and industry products and services
Problem solving and analytical skills
Knowledge of back office systems (Advisor Office/Outlook/Excel etc)
Outstanding customer service and relationship building skills
Attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to use initiative and be self-motivated
Ability to work effectively as part of a team including providing support and guidance to other team members
Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
