Job Description
LOCATION: ATHLONE, CO. Westmeath

EU/UK Passport or Stamp 4 Visa required

* Providing a top-class tax consulting service to a portfolio of financial services clients in the asset management/investment funds, private equity, and securitization sectors

* Researching and presenting detailed technical tax advice to support tax advisory projects

* Corresponding with both Revenue and clients on the client’s tax affairs

* Working as part of a team with fellow managers, directors, and partners, ensuring the smooth running of the department

* Involvement in sustaining and growing client business, proposing and winning new business, and positively contributing to the overall development of the practice

* Supervision and development of a team of trainees and seniors and liaising with the corporation tax compliance delivery team as needed

* Oversee tax issues for the company's operations and ensures tax obligations comply with the local tax laws

* Reviewing invoice from the vendor and ensuring compliance are met

* Ensure tax payments and filings are submitted timely and accurately

* Handle tax audits, litigations and provide strategy on tax audit

* Liaise with Corporate Tax on transfer pricing Documentation and other issues

* Manage the tax planning, keep abreast of changes in the tax laws, evaluate, and plan for such changes to minimize the negative impact

* Assessing tax risk management and assessment of exposure, provisioning, and risk mitigation plans

Requirements:

* 4+ years' experience in practice

* Must be Fully qualified CTA, ACCA, ACA, CPA, ITI

* Strong technical and analytical skills
