Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst

Our client is a small but growing financial services business who are looking to recruit a Senior Regulatory Reporting Analyst (SRRA) who will have the responsibility for the accurate and timely submission of financial information to the Prudential Regulation Authority (PRA), Financial Conduct Authority (FCA) and the Bank of England.
The SRRA will also support the Finance Director (FD) with credit risk analysis of the Society’s loan portfolio, quarterly stress testing of the Society’s capital position and completion of the Society’s ICAAP, Recovery Plan and Pillar 3 Disclosures.
You will be:
* Responsible for the production and review of all regulatory reports and returns, ensuring the highest quality and robustness of all information submitted to the regulators, whilst maintaining excellent knowledge of the regulatory frameworks and reporting requirements.
* Responsible for maintenance and development of the regulatory reporting process including data integrity within ALMIS (the software used to compile, review and submit the majority of regulatory returns)
* Interpretation of the regulatory rules which forms the basis of reporting and providing regulatory guidance to the business.
* Horizon scanning of the regulatory environment, identifying any changes likely to impact on the Society.
* Reviewing any proposed changes to operations, which may impact on regulatory reporting (e.g., new products, services or markets served).
* Responsible for timely production of mortgage book and capital stress testing models.
* Driving through greater automation and efficiency of processes within your area of responsibility.
* Responsible for the production, review and submission of Regulatory and any associated Board/Committee reports.
* On‐going consideration of departmental risks, controls and procedures
* Ad‐hoc projects and tasks as required by the FD.
* Maintaining procedures and controls for all areas within responsibility
The successful candidate will have:
* Experience carrying out regulatory reporting is essential and accountancy experience or qualifications is desirable.
* Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word.
* Experience within the financial services industry.
* Team player with excellent communication skills; ability to articulate key messages to senior management.
* Ability to multi‐task in an environment with competing deadlines
