Job Description
We are working with an established fintech based in Peterborough, they are looking for a Senior SQL Database Developer.

This role will mainly provide mainly second and third line support for all of their production systems across a wide number of platforms and technologies in the company.

Key responsibilities:

* Take the lead on all SQL reporting, development and related areas.

* Model and document SQL data mapping, solutions, work with businesses and members of other technical teams in order to determine the best solution

* Maintain and improve the existing data warehousing system

Required Knowledge and experience:

* Understanding of financial services

* Hands on SQL-XML programming skills

* Experience in Data Modelling, Database design and well versed with SQL Server best practices

* Strong SQL Server integration services (SSIS) for ETL and SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS)

* XML Extraction and transformation

* Designing complex database structures

* Experience of developing systems of working & codes of practice

Education:

* IT degree or industry recognised qualification

* Experienced in SQL Server Development
