We’ll help you succeed

Our successful team is looking for an experienced sales manager who will be responsible for developing a sustainable new business pipeline, deliver against revenue targets whilst also building successful stakeholder relationships internally. Day to day activities will include:

• Targeting and generating potential income using both proactive and reactive sales techniques, capitalising on leads and existing relationships

• Sourcing new business with the aim of establishing profitable long term client relationships

• Preparing and delivering client pitches in all areas of the new business life cycle, including tenders and proposal preparation, engaging with the wider Markets, Sales & Clients team and Partners as required

• Identifying referral and cross selling opportunities and engaging across the firm to collaborate with service and sector teams as and where appropriate

• Achieving growth and hitting sales targets

• Managing larger sales opportunities and facilitating a smooth transition from prospect to client

• Maintain up to date market knowledge, including sector knowledge and competitor activity

• Keeping abreast of both company and industry research, market trends, best practices and sharing insight, knowledge and management information with both the sales team and wider business
• Keeping up to date with BDO’s service offerings as well as building relationships with key stakeholders internally
• Identifying sales opportunities linked to legislative, emerging market, technology and economic based issues

• Managing Partner and internal expectations
• Working with the Partners and Business Development Managers to focus and deliver future sales strategy on key target areas
