Job Description
We are looking for a Senior Manager in the Balance Sheet & Controls team at this listed global employer. You will lead the development of a robust and effective control environment across all P&L and Balance Sheet Finance processes including the continuous improvement and automation of existing balance sheet reconciliation processes and other financial controls.
The role encompasses oversight over the full end to end finance process to ensure control and financial mis-statement risk within the P&L and Balance Sheet aligns with regulatory and Group risk requirements and delivers strategic goals. You will partner with Finance leaders in the development of strategies & tools to optimise the Group's balance sheet build around internal processes.
The post includes;
Lead the overall development and execution of balance sheet tools and process to deliver both the Group strategy.
Responsibility for ensuring Balance Sheet mis-statement risk and control risk are at an acceptable low level
Ensure through advice and monitoring that processes/procedures are implemented consistently and in line with expected standards.
Drive the development and deployment of tools to continually improve performance and effectiveness.
Anticipate and keep up to date with technical, regulatory or business led developments and drive forward continuous improvement
Lead, motivate, develop and focus a team of 6.
This role is Leeds centre based with the option to work from home up to 3 days per week.
