Job Description
Title: Senior Finance Business Partner

Salary: £42,000 – £53,000 + generous car allowance + hybrid working pattern + further benefits including free car parking + bonus scheme

Location: Hull

OVERVIEW:

This is a role for a fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant with good commercial focus and the ability to liaise effectively right across a business including both finance and non finance colleagues. This is an opportunity offering a hybrid working pattern of 2 days in the office and 3 days from home with a well known, highly respected Hull company with a national presence.

THE ROLE:

The role will require the successful candidate to represent finance at business leadership meetings and provide commercial financial support

Take responsibility for the timely and accurate production of all regular reporting, analysis and insight for assigned business functions including forecasting
Investigate unusual trends in information and highlight financial sources of opportunity, driving forward key initiatives
Assess commercial viability of investment opportunities & initiatives using business case and investment appraisal techniques

THE CANDIDATE:

You are a fully qualified CIMA/ACCA/ACA accountant possibly with a strong management accounting background and ideally with previous exposure to commercial finance

A strategic thinker with a logical thought process, you have excellent analytical and investigative skills, a curious enquiring approach and possess the ability to challenge the status quo when required

Self confident in presenting financial information to both senior finance and non finance colleagues, you have a collaborative style of working and enjoy interaction with the wider areas of the business.

You will need to reside within a commutable area of Hull for the 2 days per week required in the Hull head office. This opens up the opportunity for those candidates living in the wider Yorkshire and North Lincolnshire areas who wouldn't normally commute to Hull on a daily basis.

THE BENEFITS:

£42,000 – £52,000 + car allowance £7000 + bonus scheme + attractive benefits package
