About the company

An international comparison originator is on the hunt for an experienced DevOps Engineer. They form part of a global financial services conglomerate, and this position will be based at their Liverpool offices.

This is a permanent position; hybrid role and you will be expected to go into the office 2/3 days a week. They have a modern, friendly, open plan offices and a great history of teambuilding/ social events.

What you will do:

Deploy, automate, maintaining, and manage Cloud-based production systems, to ensure the availability, performance, scalability, and security of productions systems.
System troubleshooting and problem-solving across platform and application domains.
Suggest architecture improvements and recommend process improvements.
Ensure critical system security through the use of best-in-class cloud security solutions, providing status updates to stakeholders, and escalating issues when necessary.
Working with development teams (developers, data scientists, and operation) and understanding their needs.
Requirements:

5+ years DevOps experience
Proficient with AWS and certifications will be beneficial
Strong working knowledge of Kubernetes and Dockers
Must be prepared to travel 2/3 days in an office

A broad range of Cloud technologies (*our platform runs on AWS).
Build and maintain with security first principles (the data of our clients is paramount).
Infrastructure as code / Cloud Formation.
Scripting languages.
Monitoring solutions.
Version Control.
Continuous Integration / Continuous Delivery tools.
Containers and orchestration systems are nice to have.
