Job Description
THE COMPANY
Are you an experienced Bookkeeper looking for a new opportunity or next step up in your career? Do you have experience working for an Accountancy practice? Our client, based in Stafford are currently recruiting for a Senior Bookkeeper on a permanent basis.

THE ROLE
You will be working for a Stafford based accountancy practice as a Senior Bookkeeper. You will be responsible for a small team of Bookkeepers as well as preparing accounts for Sole traders, Limited companies, and Partnerships. You will oversee the team, ensuring clients bookkeeping is kept to a high quality and in an efficient time scale. Dealing with any team queries, monitoring sickness and holiday cover and general mentoring of the team. You will also be responsible for a small number of clients and reviewing all VAT returns.

REQUIREMENTS
Ideally you will have AAT Level 4. 5+ years UK based practice experience and a good knowledge of Xero, FreeAgent and QuickBooks online. Highest standards of written and oral communication and working from their office and sometimes remotely. We will also consider candidates who are QBE.

COMPANY BENEFITS
Salary up to £30,000, depending on experience + Full Study Support, Auto Enrolment Pension, and free Parking. Other benefits to be discussed at interview stage
