Senior Accountant

Stafford

£35,000 – £45,000 + Training + Life insurance + Flexibility + 34 Days Holiday

Are you an Accountant looking to take the next-step up in your career working in one of the most well-established firms of Chartered Accounts and Financial and Business Advisors in the country?

On offer is the opportunity to join a tight knit Accountancy firm which have a focus on their staff's wellbeing. They will invest in your ongoing professional development offering study support.

In the role the successful accountant will be in a varied role, working on the preparation of management and financial information as well as preparing account of clients and businesses. You will also be working on balance sheet reconciliations and preparing tax returns.

The company have a huge focus on work life balance with core hours of 10am-4pm, giving you the opportunity to work 7.5hrs a day when it suits you. They will often give employees the flexibility to attend appointments and family events without the need to take annual leave.

This role would suit an Accountant looking for a varied and autonomous role with great benefits including life insurance, eye tests, a day off on your birthday and social events.

The Role:
* Preparing Accounts, Financial and Management information
* VAT Returns
* Balance Sheet Reconciliations
* Flexible hours

The Person:
* Commercial Accountant experience
* AAT/ ACCA /ACA qualified
* Chartered or 2 exams away at most
