Job Description
An experienced, ambitious, qualified ACCA /ACA Accountant is required to join an established Accountancy Practice based in Maidstone, Kent, on a full time, permanent basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an Accounts Senior seeking the next level of career progression, within an established, 5 star review, forward thinking accountancy practice.

Practice Accountant Position Overview

As a client Manager/portfolio manager, your role will be varied and will include looking after a portfolio or clients as well as a small team of Junior Accountants.

Working alongside the Partner, to manage the firm's fastest-growing clients
Managing a portfolio of clients
Accounts & Tax Return Production
Preparation of financial reporting packs
Overseeing, supporting, and reviewing the work of junior accountants
Creating good internal working relationships to ensure the clients' needs are met
Training clients on XERO bookkeeping software
Fixed fee, unlimited client support

Practice Accountant Position Requirements

ACCA / ACA Qualified
Excellent Xero knowledge
Excellent communication skills and the ability to build relationships
Experience within a UK Accountancy practice – at least 3 years hands on experience
Experience as a semi/senior accountant

Practice Accountant Position Remuneration

Monday – Friday
09.00 – 17.00 (flexible)
£40,000 – £50,000 dependant on experience
