SEMI-SENIOR ACCOUNTANT ROLE IN WISBECH, CAMBRIDGESHIRE- JOB REF: JO32782

Accountancy Elite are delighted to be partnered with a fantastic Accountancy Practice based in Wisbech who provide excellent services to a wide range of clients across the region. This exciting new position has emerged due to a period of continued expansion within the Accounts department.

The successful candidate for this role would ideally be someone who is currently studying for their ACCA or ACA qualification, however candidates who are qualified by experience will definitely be considered. A minimum of 3 years' UK Accountancy Practice experience is required. Previous experience in preparing limited company accounts would be preferred.

Key Roles and Responsibilities:

* Preparation of statutory accounts for Sole Traders, Partnerships and Limited Companies.

* Completion of bookkeeping and VAT returns for clients.

* Preparation of management accounts.

* Regularly liaising with clients to build strong relationships.

* Use of cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks.

Candidates Attributes:

* Minimum of 3 years' experience in an accountancy practice environment.

* Partly ACCA or ACA qualified OR QBE.

* Good experience with cloud-based accounting software such as Xero and QuickBooks is essential.

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills are essential.
