Job Description
Our client, a publicly listed fleet management service provider is looking for a permanent Risk and Internal Controls Specialist to assist the Finance Director and their key stakeholders in analysing and reporting on key financial risk components.
Key responsibilities of the Risk & Internal Controls Manager
Support the Finance function in enhancing processes and controls, through a continues process improvements mindset
Support the finance function in creating quality partnership with business and operation and improving the communication across the team
Ensuring FCA Compliance across regulated business activity, by developing action and audit plans
Supporting the preparation of the annual external audit and delivering request documentation around process and controls
Ownership of process and control framework and methodology, coaching the best practise across the Finance team
Ensuring all employees involved, in the regulated business, are trained and compliant
Preparing and maintaining a dashboard with the status of process and key controls
Timely completing and submitting half yearly FCA returns
Key essentials of the Risk & Internal Controls Manager
Qualified Accountant (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with relevant risk and/or compliance experience
Experience of working in a regulated environment, including FCA and Consumer Regulated Business
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and communicate at all levels within the organisation
