Purchase Order Administrator

Location: Basingstoke – office based

Business Area: Kier Places – Commercial & Finance team

Contract & hours: Permanent, full time, Monday to Friday, 40 hours per week

We are looking for a Purchase Order Administrator to join our Commercial & Finance team based in Basingstoke, where your role will be instrumental in ensuring invoices are managed and system queries are resolved effectively.

Responsibilities

As a Purchase Order Administrator with Kier Places, your day to day will include:

Checking worksheets, approved quotes and raising purchase orders whilst supporting sub-contractors with any payment issues

Obtaining Goods Received Notes (GRNs) & chasing returns as necessary, promoting discipline in this area and ensuring accurate recording of deliveries by sites

Liaise with site managers/ procurement department / suppliers to resolve queries efficiently

Who are we looking for?

The role of Purchase Order Administrator is great for you if:

You have experience working within a complex organisation within an accounting role & understand fundamental accounting principles

Accurate and confident written and verbal communication skills

Good IT skills to include experience with Oracle eBS, Outlook & Excel (must be intermediate and be confident with pivot tables & lookups)

Full Driving License as there will be occasional travel to site for training
