Accounts Payable Clerk | 3 month contract | Up to £19 per hour via Umbrella company | London | Hybrid working – 2 days in the office | Luxury retailer
A global and well-known luxury retailer and manufacturer in central London are looking to hire an Accounts Payable Clerk on a temporary basis for at least 3 months. Based in a newly refurbished office, this role has arisen due to fast approaching year end deadlines alongside an ongoing system implementation project. This opportunity is hybrid with 2 days working in the office each week.
This opportunity reports directly to the Finance Manager and sits within a team of 10. You will be responsible for the entire accounts payable process and elements of the month end process to further support the team.
Your duties will include:
* Creating and processing high volumes of SAP and service order invoices for cost centres
* Maintaining the UK inbox
* Following up on overdue invoices with suppliers
* Creating, maintaining and raising POs and service orders
* Processing monthly, half year and end of year accruals
* Liaising directly with vendors, suppliers and internal stakeholders
* Adhoc finance tasks as required
For this opportunity, it is essential that you have working experience of SAP and high-volume invoice processing. You should also have clear communication skills, a wealth of experience within transactional finance and a good knowledge of accruals. It is advantageous if you have worked within luxury retail previously.
Whilst working within this temporary role, you will be able to use the office facilities including complimentary breakfast and lunch and gym facilities. This is a hybrid position with 2 days a week in the office.
