Job Description
Sharp Consultancy are delighted to be working in partnership with well-established business who are one of the countries leaders in their sector. They are looking for a Purchase Ledger Assistant to join their friendly finance team at the Barnsley Head Office location.

The main duties of this role include:
*Processing purchase invoices, coding them for the invoice ledger
*Preparing the invoices and getting them ready for payment
*Matching invoices to purchase orders
*Supplier statement reconciliation
*Resolving queries in a timely manner
*Process employee expenses
*Manage and control the petty cash

The ideal candidate will have the following skills and experience:
*Experience of working in Accounts Payable
*Excellent communication skills and good telephone manner
*Good IT skills (e.g., accounting software and Excel)
