Job Description
Project Manager

Location: Homebased

The Role

As Project Manager, you will be working in an exciting, diverse, and changeable environment. You will be a valued member of the team and expected to deliver high-quality projects and deliverables across a broad range of technologies and business areas through various delivery methodologies to provide value and benefits to the business.

You will be responsible for the overall direction, coordination, implementation, execution, control, and completion of specific projects ensuring consistency with company strategy, commitments, and goals.

Main Responsibilities:

Manage project stakeholders to define scope, goals, and deliverables
Produce plans and timelines through a range of assumptions and projections
Define project tasks, budgets, and resource allocation
Implement projects to live environments by providing direction and support to the project team
Present reports to PMO defining project status, risks, issues, and contingency plans
Maintain the project plan, RAID log, Actions log, lessons log, cost tracking, etc.
Manage all coordination between members of the team, internal and external stakeholders
Apply project management methodology to ensure all project work is organised and clear. Allocate work as per the project plan and ensure deadlines are kept.
Coordinate project meetings, including creating agendas, taking minutes, and adapting the project plan.
Develop expert knowledge of assigned projects.

Key Competences:

Knowledge of both theoretical and practical aspects of project management
Knowledge of CDL Strata or Open Gi software platforms
Knowledge of project management tools and techniques
1+ years direct work experience in project managementsupport capacity
Proven experience in people management
Proven experience in planning
Proven experience in risk management
Proficient in project management software (MS Project)
Excellent reporting and communication skills
Ability to react and be effective in periods of high personal demands
Methodical approach to work and ability to work under own initiative
Excellent IT Skills including Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint
Desirable Qualification in Project management or equivalent

What we're looking for:

Experienced Project Manager with certification.
Solid and proven experience of Project methodologies.
Financial and Insurance Services experience with business knowledge.
Technical background highly desirable.

What is the salary and hours?

35 hours per week, 9 am and 5 pm Monday to Friday. The role will have some flexibility of working between home and the office
