Project/Buyer Administrator
Swansea – SA7
Salary up to £28,000
Hours: 08.00 – 17.00 (Mon-Fri)
Our client are a large small works provider based out of the Llansamlet area who sub-contract to some of the largest government contracts and Facilities Maintenance providers in the country . This role requires an experienced administrator who has gained administration experience though working in the engineering industry, the successful candidate will join a positive, encouraging work environment.
The Role:
– Purchasing and administration within an engineering environment.
– Relationship building with suppliers, monitoring supplier performance and compliance.
– Checking products are delivered on time and against specification.
– Action/report all stock issues, damages and discrepancies.
– Look for process improvements.
– Processing and checking of supplier invoices, proof of delivery and purchase orders.
– Maintain accurate records of all items.
Requirements:
– Engineering purchasing/administration experience.
– Strong team player.
– Great attention to detail.
– Confident communicator over the phone and email.
– Work comfortably in a fast-paced environment.
– Sage experience very beneficial.
– Microsoft office experience.
– Ability to prioritise workload effectively.
