Kenton Black Finance are delighted to represent a friendly professional company who are now seeking to appoint a capable and experienced Payroll Executive to work in a HYBRID role (not limited on how many days at office or home)! Open plan lovely offices offering a great team working environment and career prospects to develop professionally.

This opportunity is ideally suited to someone within previous payroll processing experience either inhouse or within a bureau/accountancy practice environment who is now seeking to join a friendly firm offering a great place to work and flexible working (hybrid working from office and home) and flexible start and finish times!

Within the role you will be responsible for full end to end payroll processing for your own portfolio of clients on a weekly, fortnightly and monthly basis and be conversant with either SAGE/STAR or BRIGHTPAY.

Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: –

This is a full end to end role comprising of the following duties:

Full end to end Payroll processing via SAGE/STAR/BRIGHTPAY experience of one or more of these packages preferred but NOT essential as training can be provided
Dealing with your own portfolio of clients (able to build up at own rate)
Dealing with SMP/SSP
Pension, auto enrolment
Dealing with starters/leavers, P45/P46’s
Setting up of new clients
RTI
Client/HMRC liaison

Person Specification

This role would ideally suit someone with a practice or bureau background. HOWEVER my client will also consider strong payroll experience within inhouse payroll processing experience so if you are seeking a new challenge in a new environment, this is one for you!
