Job Description
My client is looking for a Payroll Clerk to work within their finance team. Using Sage 50, you will be responsible for the payroll end to end processes.
Key Responsibilities:
* Carry out calculations of pay and deductions for both fortnightly and monthly staff
* Help monitor WTD shift patterns
* Ensure correct and accurate processing of payroll data
* Process Pension Submissions
* Assist in the process of holiday recordsad
* Record absences / process sick pay
* Check and produce payslips, P45's, P60's and P11d’s
* Payroll Year Procedure
* Answer earnings enquiries
* Deal with HMRC, PCC, CCC, CSA, DEA, and process deductions
* Liaise with HR and Department Managers for Starters and Leavers
* Assistance with the administration of the sickness, holiday, and absence procedure
Essential Experience / Qualifications and Attributes Required:
* At least 1-2 years’ experience in a payroll focused role
* The ability to multi-task and deliver to deadlines
* Strong interpersonal skills – you need to engage with colleagues across the whole of the organisation
* The ability to work under pressure
