I am reaching out to you on behalf of a client who operate in the hospitality sector who are looking to hire an immediately available payroll professional on a temporary to permanent basis. They are open to hiring someone at an admin level or specialist level. Ensure that up to 2,000 employees across hotels and restaurants are paid accurately and on time.
Maintain compliance with all company and regulatory requirements in relation to employee pay and benefits.
Build strong and trusting relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Provide expertise guidance and support to the payroll team and wider group, including developing best practice, policies and procedures.
Support the training and development of a small team of payroll administrators.
Ensure that weekly and monthly payroll information is submitted to external payroll bureaus and processed accurately and in a timely manner.
All company and regulatory requirements complied with, including in relation to National Minimum and Living Wage, Apprenticeship Levy, pensions, holiday pay, sick pay, travel and other employee benefits.
Strong and trusting relationships established with all key stakeholders, including Payroll team, People Team, Finance, Hotel / Restaurant Managers, internal Heads of Department and external payroll service providers (Fourth and Capita).
Opportunities for transformational change in the delivery of payroll services identified and/or implemented.
Meaningful payroll policies and procedures developed, documented and communicated to relevant stakeholders.4 days in the office 1 day from home
