Job Description
We are currently recruiting for a Payroll Administrator on behalf of our partner Umbrella Company. We are looking for a professional in the administration field with previous experience in accountancy/ payroll administration, including right-to-work checks. The ideal candidate for the role of Payroll Administrator would have excellent data entry and customer service skills and is able to ensure all agency workers' compliance documents are received and processed on time.

Job Details:

Payroll Administrator for Agency Workers
Part-time, 2-3 days a week
Working from an office in Langley (Slough, Berks) – please note this is not a remote position
Negotiable salary, depending on experience and qualification

Main Responsibilities:

Liaise with agency partners to on-board new Umbrella employees and request the relevant documents
Process the relevant compliance checks, including right-to-work checks
Answer queries from contractors by telephone and email
Timely and accurate data entry
Ensuring weekly deadlines are met
Be a point of contact for agency partners, providing a high level of customer service

Job Requirements:

Previous experience with payroll administration is a must
Strong Microsoft Office skills and the ability to work across multiple systems
Excellent data entry and customer services skills
Ability to work well under pressure
Ability to build relationships with both internal and external staff
Ability to work independently as well as in a team
Excellent communication skills
Strong work ethic
Passion for working within a busy environment
Proactive and dedicated
Strong organisational skills
Excellent attention to detail
Admin/Compliance qualification desirable but not essential
