Job Description
An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Payroll Administrator! 

Joining the team as a Payroll Administrator, the key purpose of the role will be to establish and maintain the in-house payroll function, and to process monthly payroll (circa 700 multi-site employees) split across three separate monthly pay runs.

Key Duties

Payroll processes and procedures to ensure the accurate and timely delivery of three payrolls per month
Experience of producing payroll reports, RTI reconciliation and submission of EPS and FPS to HMRC
Processing and maintaining accurate records on sick pay, maternity pay etc
Processing and recording the payment of overtime and annual leave
Processing and recording of third-party payments disbursements: AOE, PAYE, Pensions
Record and track all BIK and the production of P11d's
Collecting data via Company time & attendance systems
Processing payroll and expense journals and reconciling accounts
Producing monthly BACS payment files
Monthly analysis on payroll costs by department
The main point of contact for payroll queries and resolution
Annual and ad hoc reporting for Clipper as and when required
Actively contributing to both the HR and Finance teams as and when required 

Knowledge, Skills and Experience

Proficient in Microsoft Excel (VLOOKUP’s, pivot tables, etc)
Minimum 1 years-experience in a busy payroll department
Providing advice to colleagues and Managers
Submission of EPS and FPS to HMRC
Data analysis
Sage Cloud 50 Payroll software
Sage 50 Accounts 
Payroll processes
Mitrefinch Time Management Systems
Excellent communication both verbal and written
Strong attention to detail
Ability to work to targets and deadlines
Ability to use own initiative
