Job Description
Working within this large financial services organisation, based in Canary Wharf and offering hybrid working, your role sits in Strategic Finance will be to help prepare annual budgets, forecasts, and monthly management accounts as well as
supporting on going projects and ad hoc decision making.

Description

Preparation of month end accounting entries, supporting the Senior Finance Analysts
Assisting in the production of timely and insightful management information to senior leadership to support decision-making
Providing other support to the Senior Finance Analysts as required including assisting with answering ad-hoc queries, variance analysis and external audit preparation
Preparation and supporting the co-ordination of forecasts and annual budget in conjunction with Senior Finance Analysts & Finance Business Partners ensuring divisions understand financial implications
Also provide business partnering support to the allocated sub-divisions and assist in the resolution of relevant business queries in a timely manner as required
Regularly need to manage and interrogate large volumes of data and be able to summarise back to Finance and non-Finance stakeholdersProfile

Part Qualified / Finalist ACCA, CIMA or ACA
Strong excel and modelling skills with the ability to work with and manipulate large volumes of data
Excellent stakeholder management capabilities and listening skills
Excellent attention to detail: can demonstrate taking pride in work and ensuring it is of the highest standard
A strong communicator who engages with team members and stakeholders clearly and collaboratively, with the ability to explain financial reports clearly and succinctly to finance and non-finance colleagues alikeJob Offer
