About the Responsibilities:
Joining as manager, you will be providing accountancy and personal tax advisory services to a portfolio of clients, as well supporting junior team members.
This role will involve:
* Providing personal tax advice to HNWI
* High level of technical skill required with the ability to provide a hands on, personal and professional service to clients
* Handling some of the more technical accounts and tax queries
* Reviewing and production of management accounts, personal and corporate tax returns
* Set-up of accounting reporting packs for new clients
* Approving of supplier and employee payment runs
* Preparation and review of statutory accounts
* Preparing and filing VAT returns
* Production and advice on monthly cash flows
* Managing, coaching and mentoring staff
* Supporting staff with queries
* Answering client queries and advising on specific accounting matters
* Consultancy projects including forecasting and planning
About the Applicant:
They are looking for a highly ambitious candidate, who takes pride in their work and in being part of a team who is willing to go above and beyond the expectations of clients, to help develop profitable long-lasting relationships.
* Is ACCA/ACA/CTA qualified
* Has experience managing a portfolio of Micro-entities and SME’S (knowledge of UK GAAP FRS 105 and FRS 102)
* Has experience working within general practice
* Familiarity with UK reporting requirements and the business tax environment
* Advanced Excel skills
* Experience in the preparation of management & statutory accounts
* Experienced at reviewing management accounts analytically
* Confident, self-starter who can work on their own initiative
* Highly developed interpersonal and client liaison skills – strong team player
* Flexible with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work to tight deadlines
* Excellent accuracy and attention to detail
