Job Description
Management Accountant sought for a growing PE backed business in Leeds offering hybrid working. A job that would suit a recently qualified accountant (or finalist) looking for the next step on the career ladder.
Reporting directly to the Group Financial Controller, you will be required to work as a pivotal part of the Finance team to shape a high performing team to support the business. The key part of the role will be producing high quality accurate management accounts for all entities. Having recently implemented a new ERP system you will be instrumental in embedding this cross functionally & also a key person ensuring adherence to the right controls and processes for day-to-day activities.
Key tasks will involve:
To prepare the monthly Management accounts for all entities comparing actual results to budget and forecast.
Presenting these clearly and concisely so that the results can be easily understood
Evaluating and monitoring financial information systems and recommending improvements where needed
Communicating and interpreting financial data to non-financial manage
Assist the team with bedding down of Dynamics working closely with the IT team & commercial functionals to deliver required fixes Ensure full understanding of processes for both finance and other departments in the business necessitating cross functional buy in and collaboration
Help embed & refine processes to deliver strong controls and efficiencies delivering accurate management accounts
