Job Description
We are working exclusively with our client who are looking to recruit a Management Accountant to join the team in this newly created role. They will be studying towards an accounting qualification CIMA or ACCA and want to be part of a growing team, where they will receive excellent mentoring and the freedom to let their opinions be heard. This is an interesting, varied role and one where the experience gained will be highly beneficial to your career.

Working as part of the team, duties will include:

* Working on monthly management accounts including:

*

* Accruals and prepayments

* Annual budgets and monthly forecasting

* Balance sheet reconciliations

* P & L analysis

* Liaising with departmental managers regarding their particular areas of the business, KPI analysis

* Actively be involved with projects and the financial analysis to aid business decisions and increase profitability

* Assist with the year-end statutory audit process

* Add hoc duties as required by the business

You’ll be busy and working with people who are passionate about the business, providing variety and job satisfaction.

The ideal candidate will have previous working experience gained ideally within management accounting, have a positive, proactive, inquisitive mindset with excellent interpersonal skills. Good systems experience including Excel to V LOOKUP and Pivot Table level as a minimum.

The role is based in Silverstone Business Park and within commutable distance of Banbury, Brackley, Towcester, Buckingham, Milton Keynes, Northampton and Daventry

* Salary: £28,000 – £32,000 per annum – depending on experience

* Hours: 8.30am – 5pm Monday to Friday – Hybrid working

* 25 days holiday plus statutory days
